CONFIGURING WORDPRESS PLUGIN

You can easily display Prayer and Iqamah times on your masjid’s website. To integrate the timings on your wordpress site, install the Masjidal plugin on your wordpress site. The plugin should be activated on your site before proceeding.

Your Masjid ID

Login to your Masjidal account. If you haven’t signed up for your Masjid, please sign up, its free. After login in and setting your Salah and Iqamah times, click on the Settings link on the left navigation bar and then the Web Integration tab.

The Masjid ID is displayed in red. Copy the Masjid ID and on the plugin page of your wordpress site, paste the Masjid ID into the Masjid ID field. Click the Save button.

Display Templates

We offer 3 different templates to display the timings of your masjid. The templates will automatically display the timings from your account (masjidal.com) so that you don’t have to update it manually.

Select one of the options and save it.

Premium Feature – Color-coded Iqamah Change Notifications

A color-coded banner will be displayed if Iqamah is changing within 3 days of the current date. This feature will inform users of the upcoming chnage very easily. Please note that this is a paid feature and is available to Masjid’s that are subscribed to a paid plan.

Monthly Timetable

The monthly timetable can be customized. We offer 3 different templates to display the monthly timings of your masjid. The templates will automatically display the timings from your account so that you don’t have to update the link every month. Alternatively, if you a monthly timetable PDF document, you can add that as well. Clcik on the Custom radio button and then enter the link to your PDF monthly timetable. If you choose not to display the monthly timetable link, select the None option to hide the link.

Select one of the options and save it.

Next Prayer Highlighted

The next prayer will be highlighted automatically. To further customize it, you can select the highlight color and the font color to match your website.

Select the colors and then save it.

Customizing Labels

The labels for the header row and the prayer names can be customized. If you want to spell it differently, simply enter the new label in the label field and save the settings.

Adding the Prayer Timings to your Website

We offer a few different options to add the timings to your website.

To add it as a section (screenshot below), use shortcode [single_view_calendar] on your website.

Alternatively, if you only want to add the timings of individual prayer or Iqamah, you can do that as well. This way, you can format it to match your site.
