Zakat al-Fitr is an essential charitable obligation given before Eid salah, ensuring that those in need can also celebrate the joy of Eid. Making it easy for the community to fulfill this obligation on time is important for every masjid.

With the Zakat al-Fitr feature, masjids can set a fixed amount per person and collect payments online or in-person, helping ensure funds are distributed promptly and efficiently before Eid.

 

To create a Zakat Ul Fitr campaign, login to your Masjidal account and then click on the Donation Portal link. Click on Products in the left navigation bar under Fundraise.

Click on the Add Product button:

Fill and adjust the fields as needed. Please make sure that the amount is correct based.

Click update when done. Click on the Preview Product Page link to copy the link. You can use this socialize on your website, email campaigns, QR code on the TV screen and groups.  

 

Note: The Zakat ul-Fitra feature is available only for masjids using Masjidal Donations (Ultimate Plan). If you are not currently on the Ultimate Plan, please contact the Masjidal team to upgrade and enable this feature.
