ATHAN+ Phone App for your Masjid
Keep your community informed with real-time announcements on Athan+. Share important updates like Eid prayers, funerals, and fundraisers through color-coded text boxes or image-based slides. Announcements can be tapped to view fullscreen, shared easily, and even linked to your website. You can schedule them in advance and display them on the app or your masjid screens with just a few clicks.

Announcements as Text
You can add various announcement messages such Eid Prayer reminders, fundraisers, funeral information and so on. The announcement texts appear as color coded announcement boxes. User can tap on it to view it in fullscreen. They can also easily share with their contacts by tapping the share icon.
To add an announcement text,click on the New Content link on the left navigation bar and then click on the Announcement tile.
Title – Enter the title of the announcement. Best practice is to keep it short and direct for maximum impact.
Type – Regular will appear as a text box. Important will appear as a red text box and will appear as a one-time pop up when the view your masjid on the Athan+ app. Obituary will appear as a green text box. Donation will appear as a green box with a link to donate directly from the announcement. Button is described further down.
Message – Enter the detailed message here. Best practice is to keep it simple and direct.
Schedule – Enter the date range that this should be active for.
Display On – Select Athan+ for the Athan+ app. Checking Screens will show the text on the Al-Iqamah app (masjid signage).
Click the Save button to save the announcement.
Announcements as Slides (premium feature)
You can add clickable sliders (images) to enhance your Masjid listing on the Athan+ app. The images can also be displayed on the Al-Iqamah app (masjid signage screens) with a simple checkbox making it easy to manage your content and display it on various platforms.
Click on the Slideshow in the dropdown and then Image.
Name – Enter a descriptive name for this slide.
Display On – Select Athan+. Checking Al-Iqamah will show the text on the Al-Iqamah app (masjid signage).
Upload Image – Click on Choose File to upload the image to be displayed. Best practice is to create a 1920px x 1080px sized image.
Image Click URL (Optional) – Enter the website link if you want users to be redirected to a specific page on your Masjid’s website. This allows the user to tap on the image and be redirected to a website. Leaving it blank will disable the clicking on the app.
Schedule (Optional) – Enter specific dates and times in which you would like the image to be displayed.
Click the Save button to save the slide.
